Gemstone Selection
Choose the gemstone type, color, size, cut, and proportions. Special cuts, unusual dimensions, or specific colors may require additional sourcing or cutting time.

Design Development
We refine the setting, structure, dimensions, metal, ring size, engraving, accent stones, and personalized details, then confirm the quotation.

CAD Review & Written Approval
You review the final CAD design before production. Production begins only after full payment, all order details are confirmed, and written CAD approval is received.
Changes requested after CAD approval may require a revised quotation, a new CAD approval, and additional production time.

Production
Your jewelry is cast, refined, assembled, set, polished, and finished by the production team according to the approved CAD and order specifications.

Quality Inspection
The center stone, setting security, metal, ring size, engraving, alignment, surface finish, and approved custom details are checked before dispatch.

Delivery
The finished jewelry is securely packaged and prepared for worldwide delivery. Tracking is provided after dispatch.

Production estimates begin after full payment, final detail confirmation, and written CAD approval.

Production estimates exclude shipping time, customs clearance, public holidays, and delays caused by special cutting, unusual dimensions, complex structures, multiple revisions, post-approval changes, delayed confirmation, or missing sizing and order information.

Lab-Grown Colored Gemstones
Choose the gemstone type, color, dimensions, cut, and proportions according to the design.
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Diamond specifications may include shape, carat weight, measurements, cut, color, clarity, proportions, and overall visual appearance.
Precious Metals
Available options may include 9K, 10K, 14K, and 18K gold, as well as platinum. Each finished piece carries the applicable metal-purity mark where the design and local requirements allow.
Center-Stone & Finished-Jewelry Reports
Center-stone report details are confirmed in the quotation or order documentation. Where available, optional certification of the completed jewelry may be added: IGI for US$80 or GRC for US$50, with 7 additional production days.
Spinel Scope
Lab-grown spinel options are limited to cobalt blue spinel and aquamarine spinel.
Paraiba YAG
Lab-Grown Paraiba YAG is offered as a lab-grown material option and should not be described as natural Paraiba tourmaline.

The cast setting is carefully filed, shaped, and refined before the stones are installed.
Setting the Center Stone
The center stone is precisely positioned and secured according to the approved setting structure.
Final Polishing
The completed ring receives its final surface finishing and polish before quality inspection.
Finished Piece
The completed jewelry is inspected for finish, stone security, proportions, and overall quality.
Important Custom-Order Terms
Changes, Photos, Cancellations & Delivery
These points help avoid delays and make expectations clear before production begins.
Design Changes
Changes requested before final CAD approval may affect the quotation and timeline. Changes after written CAD approval may require a new CAD, revised price, and additional production time.
Production Photos
Production-stage photographs must be requested in advance. Availability depends on the production stage and workshop workflow.
Custom-Order Cancellation
A custom order may generally be cancelled within 48 hours of payment if CAD work, material purchasing, gemstone sourcing or cutting, and production have not begun. Later cancellation may be subject to a 20% design and materials fee before final approval or production.
After CAD Approval
After final CAD approval, custom gemstone cutting, special sourcing, engraving, resizing, casting, manufacturing, or other customer-specific work has begun, the order is normally non-cancellable.
Worldwide Delivery
Finished jewelry is securely packaged and shipped worldwide using a suitable carrier. Delivery time is separate from the production estimate.
Optional Shipping Insurance
Standard shipping does not automatically include insurance. Optional insurance must be requested before dispatch and is quoted and paid separately.
Returns & Warranty
Made Specifically for You
Custom jewelry is produced to approved customer specifications, so different return rules apply from standard, unaltered jewelry.
Custom Pieces Are Generally Final Sale
Customized, personalized, engraved, resized, specially sourced, and specially cut pieces are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Protected Issues
They remain protected when the finished item materially differs from the approved order, has a confirmed manufacturing or workmanship defect, or qualifies under Abbett's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Coverage applies to qualifying damage during normal wear and ordinary use, together with confirmed manufacturing and workmanship defects. Misuse, human error, accidents, improper care, or unauthorized repair are not covered.

What information should I send for a custom design?
Send your reference images or design idea, preferred gemstone, approximate size or dimensions, metal, ring size, budget, required date, and any engraving or personalized details.
Can I choose the exact gemstone color, size, and cut?
Yes. You may request a gemstone type, color, size, cut, and proportion. Availability, feasibility, price, and additional cutting or sourcing time are confirmed before production.
When does the production timeline begin?
The production timeline begins only after full payment is received, all order details are confirmed, and the final CAD is approved in writing.
Can I make changes after seeing the CAD?
Changes can be discussed before final approval. Revisions may affect the price and timeline. Changes requested after written CAD approval may require a revised quotation, new CAD approval, and additional production time.
Can I receive photographs during production?
Production photographs must be requested in advance. We will confirm whether photographs can be provided at the relevant stage.
Will my jewelry include a certificate?
Center-stone report details are confirmed in your quotation or order documentation. When available, optional certification of the finished jewelry may be added: IGI for US$80 or GRC for US$50. Either finished-jewelry report adds 7 days to production.
Can a custom piece be returned?
Custom pieces are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns because they are made to approved specifications. Incorrect production, covered defects, and qualifying warranty issues remain protected.
What warranty do you offer?
We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty covering qualifying damage during normal wear and ordinary use, together with confirmed manufacturing and workmanship defects. Misuse, human error, accidents, improper care, and unauthorized repair are not covered.
